Laurel is a composer living in London. Classically trained with a masters degree in film scoring from the University of Bristol, Laurel’s compositions are atmospheric and evocative. Rooted in classical composition, her pieces are modernised with ambient soundscapes and electronic production.
Alongside her independent and label releases, her recent projects include a role as composer assistant on the ITV Panorama documentary 'Israel & Gaza: Into The Abyss' (2024), for which the score was BAFTA nominated, as well as on the BBC 1 documentary 'Putin and Ukraine's Stolen Children' (2023), and on BBC 2's 'Charlie Mackesy: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, the Horse and Me' (2022).
